We at FUNimation try to create new and exciting ways to get you all closer and more involved with the anime you love. We think this event might be our craziest yet.

With One Piece returning to Toonami this Saturday at 1:00 am ET, we wanted to do something over the top to celebrate its return.

So starting at 5pm CT today our ‘host with the most’ from The FUNimation Show, Scott Porter, will be locked in a room at the FUNimation office and will not be let back out until he has watched every episode of One Piece up to episode #207, where Toonami is starting off on Saturday.

Yes, that will take the rest of the week (until late Saturday actually). Yes, we know it’s insane - that’s why it’s awesome!!!

We will have a live stream over at our FUNimation Live YouTube page of Scott locked in the room watching One Piece going 24-hours a day. The camera will even be going when he sleeps*. He will be interacting with all of you via our the live stream chat and our other social sites.

There will also be a chance to win One Piece prizes throughout the broadcast, so be sure to stay tuned to FUNimation.com/news and all the FUNimation social sites for updates.

*We are letting him sleep (a little) during this event since otherwise this could kill him or at the very least mess him up so much that he won’t be able to tell the difference between a glass of water and a penguin.

Watch it, if anything, for his beard. His beard is amazing.

I honestly cant tell what youre trying to accomplish with this bc youre basically shaming people for not liking or having troubles with liking their body yet you want everyone to magically get over their problems bc some random person on the internet said theyre “beautiful” and called them annoying for not liking their image. Not to mention calling someone “beautiful” is probably the most empty compliment you can give someone. People use their blogs as a way to vent about their problems and self image problems are definitely included, i dont see why it makes you so frustrated that people are going through hard times, and apparently youve never had self image problems? I really dont see how you could think calling people who are going through self image problems “beautiful” and then telling them to “shut the fuck up” would ever help anyone? “#stop making yourselves feel like shit” yeah ok obviously youve never had problems like this. People dont just STOP disliking their image, its a process. This post is a piece of shit omfg.

I’m sorry you disagree with someone having their own thoughts.  This is Nika’s art and it’s her feelings.  So she’s not allowed to have her own opinions now?  Says, who?  You?  Just because you don’t agree with the message, doesn’t mean it’s a piece of shit.

The message and how she conveys it is a way to get her frustrations out probably.  Why is it such a big deal to you?  She’s not hurting you.  She’s not hurting anyone.  If you don’t like something you are more than welcome to disagree but do not call her art which happens to construe how she sees other women (saying their bodies are beautiful) as shit.

I think this art work is quite beautiful.  Telling girls that we should love ourselves.  Now do we have days where we hate our bodies, absolutely. But she is just reminding us that our rolls of fat, which I myself have, is beautiful.  If your bones are showing, that’s okay.  It doesn’t matter what length your hair is, if you dress up or down, YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!
